Sips and Strokes GOC Style!!!!

The YAL (Young Adult League) from my Church went to Sips and Strokes on Monday and OH MY GOSH I had so much fun! It started off kind of rough for me because I went to the one in Vestavia and we were actually scheduled to paint at the one on 280. I was super worried that every ones' painting was going to be 15 minutes better than mine, because that's how late I ended up being, but it turned out REALLY well. We reserved a spot for 12 people and 6 only ended up showing, but I am pretty sure that they have given us all the opportunity to come back based upon the fact that poor sweet Brittany still had to pay for the other 6 that didn't get reserved.

What have the Alsobrooks been up to lately?

I have not blogged in a couple of weeks, I know. We have been so super busy, but we have stuff to document for sure! Daley went to her first Auburn Basketball game for the year. She had been to one last year, but she was not quite as into it as she was this year. She also went to 2 Auburn Football games this year, but as you can imagine we were a BIT preoccupied to take pictures. I think her Mimi got a couple of the first game this year. She definitely likes the basketball games better. I think it is just because we are closer to the actual game and she can kind of focus on what is going on.

I took her down on the court, but as you can see she and Aubie didn't hit it off to well. It is at the least how every child's first Aubie picture should be.....

We had so much fun this Halloween. We just went to a few houses on our street and the rest of the time the kids just rode in the wagon, but Daley had such a good time. Afterwards the big kids went to have a costume party of their own!!!
