Okay, I have a few friends that are bloggers and I have been sucked in. I feel like it's a diary as I sit here typing our lives to friends and family that will hopefully be interested! I have chosen the format of orange and blue as these colors define our lives especially in the fall. For those that do not know we are Auburn fans, be warned. There is no one in the entire history of the world that can clap as loud or boo as loud as my husband at Auburn football games. It is embarrassing on so many levels, but he is just so passionate. God love him! We also wear orange and blue to work and school on Friday's. I did not know that this was strange behavior but a few of our friends have pointed it out that it's not so normal.
Aside from the introduction but on the same subject, we of course traveled to Auburn for the Auburn vs. Tennessee game this weekend. We never miss a home game! A few of my high school friends were coming down this weekend too since it was Zac Ashdown's birthday and I was really excited to see them. It is so sad now that we don't live there anymore! I miss all of our friends being at all the games and tailgating with everyone. Anyway, I was super pumped to seek out my good friend Jamie this game as she traveled all the way from Birmingham and sat in the stands 9 months pregnant! I finally found her after a LOT of searching for her seat, which happens to be only two sections away from ours, only to find that this woman that sits behind her should be on one of those hunting shows that are so miserable because I SWEAR she has the turkey call down! This has got to be one of the loudest women ever and she is cheering on our Auburn Tigers. Bless her soul! On that note Jamie did very well at the football game. I sat with her for the entire first half and she didn't even get up to pee once. At her stage I was peeing every five seconds. She is so fortunate to be so tall!
I go back to our seat at half time only to find that the "turkey gobbler" is not so bad because my husband is booing to the very top of his lungs as he does not approve of Tony Franklin or the infamous Chris Todd. He is a Kodi fan! I feel terrible as it looks as if he is booing Chris Todd even though he tells me it's disapproval of the coaches decisions, but people turn to stare nonetheless. Thirdly, we have this Tennessee fan in front of us. She is like 6 feet tall and every time she stands up her dress is stuck in between her butt cheeks. Bless her soul too! My brother in law (have a mentioned he is the most hilarious person that ever existed) asks me to dare him to throw an ice cube at her and before I can even get the next word out of my mouth there flies the ice cube out of his hand into the back of her head. She turns around to see who threw it and there is me with my mouth WIDE open looking guilty as ever. He totally played it off though! Again, I am sort of embarrassed, but sort of relieved because I'm thinking maybe she will quit standing up and screaming and I won't have to see her dress stuck between her but cheeks.
I hope that you all enjoy reading our blog and I promise to keep it updated with as many pictures of Daley as I can upload as that is the ultimate purpose, so that family and friends can see her. I must spare you of any additional rambling for now. Daley 's Yia-Yia and Robert have taken her to see ELMO in concert and I expect her back any minute. Will upload photos later!!!
